사진가로써 오래전부터 팬이었던 영화배우님과의 작업은 제가 처음 사진을 시작했을 때부터 어렴풋이 꾸던 꿈이었습니다.
그런 꿈을 꾸면서도 늘 저 스스로에게 했던 다짐은 결국 누군가를 촬영하여 이름을 알리는 사진작가가 되는 것보다 그러한 기회가
혹시나 찾아오지 않더라도 나의 사진들로 어디선가 뒤처지지 않을 대등한 힘을 만드는 것이 우선시 되어야 한다는 것이었어요.
그렇게 12년, 저는 제 분야에서 이제는 그만한 힘을 만들었다 자신하고 자부하는 사람이 되었습니다. 사실 그럴 수 있기까지는 그만큼 멋진 분들과
그보다 더 멋진 작업을 해서였겠죠. 그리고 그런 시기에 마동석 배우님과의 촬영은 지나온 모든 날들 중에 가장 영광스러운 순간이었습니다.
이제는 조연과 단역이 아닌 주연으로, 나아가 세계적인 영화인이 되신 행보를 기억하며 ㅡ 앞으로도 꾸준한 응원을 보내겠습니다.
과연 저의 지난날 꿈들은 정말 꿈이었을까요.
그렇게 또 한 번 현실이 되었습니다. ⠀
